Sign up to hear what happened across the sector this summer, what changed in visitor behaviour and what Navigate’s experts think it means for the next quarter.
Summer 2026 has raised some important questions for the UK visitor attraction sector.
Throughout the season, Navigate has been tracking performance through sector research, first-hand conversations with attractions, paid media data and wider consumer trends.
In September, our visitor economy and digital marketing experts will bring that evidence together to explore what happened, what sits behind the numbers and what it could mean for your next quarter.

A fuller picture of UK visitor attraction performance
Our Summer Trends webinar brings together:
- Responses from visitor attractions across the UK
- Real-time Navigate paid media data
- First-hand insight from our conversations across the sector
- Wider consumer, economic and marketing trends
All attraction data will be aggregated and anonymised, giving us a broader view of sector performance rather than focusing on individual organisations.
This is not simply a presentation of survey results. Navigate’s experts will interpret the findings, put them into context and explain what we think attraction teams should be paying attention to next.
The questions we’ll be answering
How did UK visitor attractions perform against last summer and against their own targets?
What really sat behind the strongest and weakest periods of the summer?
How much did external factors influence visitor behaviour?
Are booking patterns changing?
What role did price, value and promotional activity play?
Which marketing channels performed strongest?
Where did programming make a difference?
And as attractions move into autumn and Christmas, which of these trends should influence Q4 decisions, and which should we be careful not to overreact to?
These are the questions our experts will explore using the final sector data alongside what we have seen and heard first-hand throughout the summer.
Help shape the UK Summer Trends research
We’re still collecting responses from visitor attractions across the UK. The more organisations that take part, the stronger the benchmarking becomes and the clearer the picture we can share with the sector.
The research covers summer performance, visitor behaviour, marketing activity and confidence heading into the next season. All findings will be aggregated and anonymised.
