The Brief

The Wave is an in-land surf destination born in Bristol, quickly taking the UK by storm. It's created an opportunity for everyone to take to the waves, get active and experience the brilliant blue health benefits of being in and around water.

The Wave came to us to help implement targeted digital campaigns and refine audience segmentation strategies to drive sales and bookings. It’s our job to increase The Wave's visibility and cement its position as a prominent player in the surfing industry, the attractions space and a blue health destination.

Our approach

Once our Paid Media specialists took over their accounts we utilised their monthly budgets across Google & Meta Ads to generate bookings for new customers. With specific audiences in line with The Wave’s marketing strategy we targeted types such as families looking to surf for the first time, all the way to experts looking to hone their wave-carving skills.

After defining KPI’s, splitting the budget and developing an ad plan, the campaigns were launched and monitored. We’re really happy with the results so far, and it’s now a process of monitoring and optimising them to ensure the best possible return on investment for our The Wave.
